Carly Comando’s music career began as soon as she could reach the piano keys, but in 2006, Carly had the opportunity to show off her versatility in a popular YouTube video called “Noah Takes A Photo Of Himself Every Day For 6 Years”. Noah Kalina shared his daily self-portrait routine through a creative short video, using Carly’s original music as the soundtrack. The audio-visual combination made Noah’s video a viral sensation. “Everyday” was featured on CNN, 20/20, VH1 and every mainstream newsroom. His video continues to receive thousands of views per week, with over 27 million views to date. With the success of his video came the success of Carly’s song. In 2007, she licensed “Everyday” to launch a new ad campaign with the NBA entitled “Where Amazing Happens.” The Simpsons also featured “Everyday” in their parody of Noah’s video in 2008 in an episode that won a Primetime Emmy Award from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. “Everyday” launched Carly's film and commercial career, with clients that include McDonalds, Nike, Canon, The Olympics, Discover+ and HBO.

The other side of Carly’s music career revolves around her band, Slingshot Dakota. A unique indie music duo known for their distinctive blend of punk and indie rock, Slingshot Dakota carved out a special place in the alternative music scene. As their musical career took off, drummer Tom Patterson and Carly's personal lives also intertwined. While touring across the United States and beyond, the two fell deeply in love. The road became the backdrop to their romance, and their shared passion for music only deepened their connection.

Their love story took a remarkable turn when, during a tour with the band Title Fight, they decided to elope on the road in Reno. It was an unconventional yet deeply meaningful decision that reflected their commitment to both their music and each other. Surrounded by friends, Carly and Tom tied the knot in a small, intimate ceremony at Chapel Of The Bells - a ceremony that truly encapsulated the spirit of their unconventional love story.

This experience led to the creation of The Processional Professional. Carly and Tom realized that a traditional wedding simply didn’t authentically represent their personalities. Inspired by this desire for uniqueness Carly launched her own venture in the wedding industry, specializing in crafting non-traditional and personalized wedding processionals. Her mission was to empower couples to celebrate their love authentically and in a way that resonated with their individuality.
